Our Centenary year’s events began with the Chippy Disco on 19th January in the Parish Institute. Those people who braved the arctic weather on that evening had a great time, with excellent fish and chips, scintillating disco performances and events for children and adults enjoyed by all. Rehearsals are well under way for the pantomime, “Babes in the Wood”, which is to be performed in the Church Hall on Tuesday 19th, Thursday 21st, Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd February at 7.30 on each evening (half term week). Tickets priced at £6 (concessions £5), inclusive of refreshments, are on sale in the Church Hall or by telephoning 01257 276540. A special invitation has been sent out, to as many former DAMS members who could be contacted, to attend a Dress Rehearsal on the Sunday afternoon of 17th February, when there will also be a photographic exhibition featuring past events.
