Bill Walker will talk on how St George's ended up as part of a new Diocese of Blackburn 100 years ago this November.

At 3pm the open day will close to make ready for the Assembly Bangers event at 4pm

David Horsfield will talk about the everyday life of the church since the war.

Gordon Blackledge, parish organist and choirmaster, will entertain with an organ recital.
